2024 Chevrolet Traverse
2024 Nissan Sentra
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
2024 Toyota Tacoma
2024 Chevrolet Traverse
The Chevrolet Traverse has received a significant update for its newest model. The revised SUV will now feature a bolder and more rugged exterior, as well as an upgraded interior that boasts a 17.7-inch infotainment system as standard. The V6 engine has also been swapped out, and in its place will be a new turbocharged 2.5L inline-four-cylinder engine, promising more power and better fuel economy than the outgoing iteration. The base Luxury Sport (LS) trim will come standard with an 8-passenger arrangement. In contrast, more upscale trim levels will offer 7-passenger seating due to the second-row captain’s chairs. Pricing will be announced closer to the start of production, but there is expected to be a slight increase over the 2023 model.
2024 Nissan Sentra
While many automakers are saying goodbye to their sedan lineup, Nissan plans to upgrade its own in 2024. The 2024 Nissan Sentra will receive a major update, boasting a new grille design, fresh wheel options, and a new Xtronic continuously variable transmission that promises a smoother shifting pattern and support for a stop/start system. While we are still awaiting official EPA numbers, Nissan also promotes an increased fuel economy over the outgoing model. The vehicle will also have a standard suite of safety options, such as blind spot monitoring, front and rear automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warnings. The “S” trim pricing will start at $21,725, making the vehicle an attractive option for fleets.
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
The Hyundai Santa Fe is receiving an extreme makeover for the 2024 model year. The vehicle will drop its generic SUV image for a more rugged, Land Rover-esq appearance. The 5th generation of this vehicle will be larger than its predecessor both in length and wheelbase, providing more room, especially for the third row. The newly designed interior gives off a feeling of elegance, with the shifter moving to the column next to the newly designed, upscale-looking steering wheel. For fans of organizing, the glovebox will feature a tray that can sanitize small items, such as a phone, utilizing ultra-violet light. The base 2.5L four-cylinder engine model will no longer be offered in North America, as it will be replaced by a 2.5L turbo-four engine. Pricing has yet to be released, but it is expected to start in the neighborhood of $40,000.
2024 Toyota Tacoma
The super popular Toyota Tacoma is set to receive some substantial changes for the 2024 model year. The 2024 Tacoma will join its Tundra and Sequoia siblings in migrating to the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) F platform. Utilizing a boxed steel ladder frame platform is expected to make the vehicle feel lighter and crisper and improve ride quality. Toyota will be dropping the V6 from the Tacoma, instead opting for a 2.4L inline-four-cylinder engine. For those looking to save on fuel, the vehicle will also come in a hybrid option as well. There will be 8 available trims to choose from (6 carryovers from the 2023 model and 2 new versions geared toward off-roading). The truck’s interior has also been modernized, falling more in line with the interiors of the Tundra and Sequoia. Pricing is anticipated to start at $30,000 for this year’s model.
