Motorlease for Mankind

From our team members, to our partners and the organizations we support, Motorlease is committed to playing an active role in the community through our Motorlease for Mankind outreach initiative. 

Through this program, Motorlease is able to pay it forward and make a difference in the lives of numerous individuals within the communities in which we live and serve.

“We’ve been part of the Farmington community for 75 years, so I think it’s very important to show our appreciation and our support. And then there is a certain responsibility to do good in the world,” said Motorlease CEO Beth Kandrysawtz.

The Motorlease team truly cares about the individuals within our community and has been participating in fundraising events and donating to non-profit organizations for nearly a decade.

While we are open to any and all organizations our team members would like to support, there are a few select organizations that hold a very special place in our hearts:

• American Cancer Society
• Food Share
• Farmington Social Services

American Cancer Society

Each year, our company joins together to give back to our community through fundraising events including the Farmington Valley Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society.

As cancer has touched the lives of so many of our family and friends, we feel a sense of responsibility to honor those impacted through both corporate giving and individual fundraising efforts. The Motorlease team is proud to have been able to make significant contributions as a Gold Sponsor over the past several years and aid in the fight against cancer.

Foodshare

While times have changed and our in-person outreach efforts have not been as viable in this past year, our team has always been a strong supporter of our local food bank Foodshare. In addition to making monetary donations, Motorlease has sent teams over on a monthly basis to help sort food and aid in their anti-hunger efforts.

Farmington Social Services

To our team at Motorlease, giving back does not only pertain to larger initiatives or communities as a whole –– it’s also about finding individuals or families who could use a helping hand.

“We believe in causes where you can help individuals because it gives you the ability to make a personal impact,” Kandrysawtz said.

That’s why each year our team adopts a local family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Putting together a delicious Thanksgiving meal and shopping from a family’s Christmas Wishlist couldn’t give our team a greater sense of joy or speak more truly to the meaning of the word “community”.

In addition to our larger corporate efforts, Motorlease supports employee-driven community outreach by offering employees 1 PTO day annually to support a cause of their choice.

Motorlease for Mankind allows our employees to give back, while making personal connections to a cause and being part of a greater community.
